9 - October Board Meeting @ Maggie O'Brien's - 7:00 pm October Phlocking: Sunday, October 4 from 1:00-5:00p.m. at Sugar Creek Winery in Defiance The Charity Raffle Prize to be given away at the December board meeting to any member who participates in a charity event in 2008 is going to be an iPOD. The STLPHC Christmas/Jimmy Buffett Birthday Party will be held at the Casino Queen this year! Keep watching for details. CARE PACKAGES FOR OUR SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN
We are asking all club members to help our service men and women stationed in the Middle East by gathering care packages to make their stay in the desert a little more bearable. Their primary concerns out there are keeping clean and cool. The conditions are really dirty. So please help out by collecting supplies.
Some suggestions are: have your family and friends collect items and/or you can even set up a collection box at your place of employment. All collected items can be given to our Charity Director, Paula Jackson pmj42666@msn.com at each club event or email Paula for other arrangements.. STLPHC COOKBOOKS ARE HERE!!!!! The cookbooks are here and they look great. They are $15 and all proceeds are benefiting the "St. Louis Area Foodbanks". To get your cookbook contact Charity Director, Paula Jackson pmj42666@msn.com.
