The St. Louis Parrot Head club raised $14,438.51 last year for local organizations. This included: Alzheimer's Association, Youth in Need, Project Backpack, St. Joachim & Ann among a few.
We have started a team page for the 2010 Alzheimer's Memory Walk to be held at Busch Stadium on Sat. September 11th, (details to come). To register for the walk, members can Click Here to begin their fundraising efforts.
"Azheimer's Memory Walk "
The 2009 Alzheimer’s Memory Walk on September 12th at Forest Park was a huge success!! Thanks to everyone from our phlock for joining us that beautiful morning to help in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease. We had 30 members walk, and assist in providing information to other walkers about our club’s “Partying With a Purpose”. The St. Louis Parrot Heads handed out purple leis, doughnuts and water to walkers and reigned in some potential new members. Our club raised $4,250 for the Alzheimer’s Association. Great job everyone.
