He cooks the gumbo
He plays the guitar
He writes the tunes

Well Parrot Heads the 2010 Mardi Gras parade was a huge success. Our Tiki Bar float looked great, the music was pumping and everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks to everyone that joined us during the parade. Some of the Clinton County group came along, and we hope they enjoyed themselves. Special thanks to all of those that helped work on the float. Too many people to name, but you know who you are. :-)

We managed to sneak into a few more news videos this year, so check them out below. FINS UP!!

We are a locally organized Parrot Head Club whose purpose is to provide a variety of social activities and assist in community and environmental concerns for people who are interested in the music and writings of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he personifies. Our club provides a variety of events throughout the year that allow our members to "Party with a Purpose".

Our events include everything from Summer Beach Parties and cross-country excursions to a Night at the Races and the St. Louis Mardi Gras Parade. Our local club is a fun and inviting bunch who love to have a good time while helping the community at the same time. Many of our social activities include Food Drives and "Silent Auctions" where members can bid on items with proceeds going to a local charity.

Check back soon for a list of upcoming events for 2010.
